Episode 2

August 2nd – Challenging Yourself (Vlog)
Bringing on problems without a deadline

All projects should carry a deadline, small problems and routines don’t.

What does it mean when you work on a problem in hopes to learn new material? What if you don’t understand the problem and the book doesn’t really give you what you’re looking for?

A teacher in the tutoring center once told me that you have to look at more than one textbook to learn the problem. You’ll find a different form of teaching style in the textbook.

Episode 9

August 9th – Change Things Up (Vlog)
Thoughts on reflection writing and adding more on what was said yesterday

Reflection writing has been all about how I feel about the day. Now, I’m considering in taking it to a different step. One that was mentioned before, such as sales writing for a product or service. Another has to do with an action plan for the day.

What wasn’t mentioned properly last time is that feedback is good when you prepare yourself for conventions.
  • Conventions are great to go to every year. Don’t let 2020 pass by without the opportunity to attend a virtual convention for free.
    • Meeting other convention attendees is something I’m not sure about
    • Action plans speak more than the day you took on yesterday
    • Reflections not only share short-term views but long-term ones
      • Action plans react to the change that you are looking for after a reflection
Plans for future episode, talk more about conventions

- Can a productivity community broadcast a convention?
- Clubs that are holding discord servers for universities
